Help Feed Starving Children For Free - All It Takes Is Some Time From You

Imagine if your sister, brother, son, daughter, mother or father died from starvation.

....It's happening 24,000 times a day or 6.5 million children dying every year!

....Imagine helping them for free!

18,000 or so CHILDREN DIED TODAY (and every day) of STARVATION or MALNUTRITION and, 850,000,000 or so people who will go to bed tonight with EMPTY STOMACHS.

Fact: 6.5 million children die every year from hunger.
Fact: 75 cents/50 pence (3 meals) a day can save a child's life.
Fact: Internet Advertising Revenue can help.

Complacency with the downside of human existence can no longer be the way, as has been in the past.

IT MUST and WILL STOP in our LIFETIME!

Every year, over $30 billion is made from the Internet because people Clicked!

$1 billion of this, in our lifetime, will go to Charity (WFP) through Free Click Donation Sites!

Click these links below. A lot of them donate food for free to starving children. They can do this by taking the advertising revenue from all the visitors like you and I, and spending it on feeding these children.

Some of the sites have games, interesting stuff to read etc etc. You will benefit, but most of all, the children can go to bed without starvation pains, maybe just for one day, maybe more if you take time to go there daily.

I can recommend the 'Free Rice' site. They provide you with a game where words are displayed with four possible meanings to them. You must choose what you think the word means, the more you get right, the more rice they donate to the children. I played this game for hours and hours while I was learning English. It helped me gain a vocabulary in English that most English people would be proud of but more importantly, it fed 100s of children.

Please visit these sites, spend a few minutes there every day and let some children know what a good meal tastes like.

Oh, and links back to this particular page on my blog would be so much appreciated. The more people we can get clicking, the more children get to eat.

Thankyou xx

It's All Gone Tits Up In Downing Street

A tumultous day for Gordon Brown, as the scale of Labour's defeat in the local elections became clear, and ministers resigned as fast as he could fill posts in his Cabinet reshuffle.

Caroline Flint stepped down as Minister for Europe in the fifth resignation of the day, accusing Gordon Brown of treating her as "female window dressing" and having a two-tier Cabinet. She followed...

...Tony McNulty, who resigned as Employment Minister in the wake of controversy over his expenses, and followed...

...Margaret Beckett, the Housing Minister, who is reportedly leaving the Government after she was not offered another post. She, in turn, followed...

...Geoff Hoon, who left the Cabinet in order to pursue a "wider role" in European and international affairs. His resignation came hot on the heels of ...

...that of John Hutton, the Defence Secretary, who insisted he was standing down for personal reasons and that he remained fully supportive of the PM.

James Purnell, the Work and Pensions Secretary, waited until the local and European polls closed at 10pm before announcing his resignation and calling on the PM to go too for the good of the party - the first direct challenge from a senior Labour figure.

Hazel Blears stuck the knife in by announcing her resignation as Communities Secretary in what appears to be a calculated blow to the PM just two days before the local and European elections. Her resignation letter pointedly did not praise Mr Brown or his policies as is customary.

This day was also a busy one for resignations - and was arguably the day that precipitated the current leadership crisis

While not a member of the Cabinet, the news that Tom Watson, a close adviser of the PM, would quit as a Cabinet Office minister in the reshuffle, was a big blow to Gordon Brown, particularly as it followed...

...the leaking of Jacqui Smith's decision to step down as Home Secretary, the first Cabinet casualty of the MPs' expenses scandal. It was revealed she told Gordon Brown within days of revelations about her finances that she wanted to quit the Government in a reshuffle. That news, in turn, followed...

...revelations that Beverley Hughes, the children's minister, will be stepping down as an MP at the next general election, as will former Cabinet minister Patricia Hewitt.

Labour won 159 seats in the local elections and came THIRD, YES THIRD, behind Conservatives on 1330 seats and the Lib Dems on 439.

It's all gone tits up at Downing Street. I thought our Romanian government was a farce but this one is catching up on a daily basis.

Type It Game

OMG this is so addictive.

Choose your level to play at and begin game.

Just type the letters as they fall down the screen.

More letters means more points.

How many did you score ?

Cristina Corduneanu Needs Help Right Now

"And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love.

But the greatest of these is love."

1 Corinthians 13:13

Cristina Corduneanu is one of those people you will only ever come across once in a lifetime. She is a young girl who has so far dedicated her life to helping the orphans and poorer people in my region of Romania. She works for the FAST (Fundatia Pentru Asistenta Sociala si Tineret) Charity in Romania.

Her work has involved raising cash and working tirelessly herself in order to make the lives of literally thousands of people much better. She has given many 100s of children a meaning to their lives and hope for their future in my village of Zizin as well as Sacele and Tarlungeni in the Brasov area of Transylvania in Romania.

Cristina Corduneanu has been stricken with Leukemia last year, and recently the disease has become so aggressive, her life is now in danger.

Below you will see the email sent out from the FAST Charity with an update to what is happening to Cristina. If you visit Cristina Corduneanu's Website you can read more about her yourself.

Dear Friends

Thankyou to all those who have given generously so far.
Things are moving very quickly, and Cristina's situation is becoming increasing desperate.
Since the last email you received Cristina has traveled to Belgium for medical tests. Her doctor advised that, due to the advanced nature of her Leukemia, there would be no point conducting any further chemotherapy. He advised that the stem cell transplant needed to take place by the 8th of June. Left longer, the disease will become more aggressive and Cristina's chances of survival diminish.
The cost of treatment has been revised down from 80,000 euro to 50,000 euro, however the clinic cannot commence the treatment until they have either an official commitment from the Romanian health department, or the 50,000 euro up front. Her family has made numerous approaches to the Romanian health department but they are refusing to help. Cristina has raised nearly 32,000 euro so far, this leaves her with the daunting task of raising 18,000 euro in one week.
We again ask all those who can to give generously. If everyone on this mailing list took it upon themselves to raise just 25 euro each, Cristina could have her treatment.
Thank again for all your support.
Regards
Everyone at FAST

Here you can read a message from Cristina Corduneanu herself. She doesn't beg for money or feel sorry for herself. She humbly asks for some help in this her darkest hour of need. Read Cristina Corduneanu's message.

As you can see, the amount needed for Cristina Corduneanu to receive her treatment was 18,000 Euros which had to be raised in 7 days. They now need 7,924 Euros in 4 days.

The sad thing is, if EVERYONE on my Twitter account gave just $2 or £1.50, that would take them to the target they need. So if you can find it in yourself to help with ANY amount, no matter how small or insignificant you might feel it is then please, please do. ANY AMOUNT WILL GO TOWARDS GIVING CRISTINA CORDUNEANU HOPE.

The Human Race has enough bad people at large, we need to grasp people like Cristina Corduneanu and keep a hold of them. She does so much good work and asks for very little in return. Now in her hour of need the world MUST give her something back.

Maybe the Romanian government might step in with the cash, maybe the Belgian government might help but we can't rely on this, we MUST make sure this cash is available to her in case no one helps.

Below you can see a video of Cristina Corduneanu's work with children and poor people. Take a look and find it in your heart to save this young girl's life so she can carry on her great work.

Please don't ask to send cash to me. I am not authorised to collect cash for any charities at all. The places to go for donations are Cristina Corduneanu Website or to the FAST Charity Website

You can go to either of these websites and have them checked out. FAST are registered under a British Charity too. This can be found here at Cleaford Christian Trust.

They have British Charity Reg Numbers, VAT Registration and Inland Revenue Registration if anyone has any doubts about this.

Again, thanks for reading this and if you have a little space on the internet where you can provide a link back here, then please do, PLEASE.
